BOXABULARY

Hello everybody!

And welcome to our Primary 2 English class! I don’t know if you remember the box your kids had to bring to school a few months ago… Now, we are proud to present THE ULTIMATE ENGLISH BOX: BOXABULARY!

In the box, we keep a lot of DIY (do it yourself) flashcards we have been creating during the academic year. We’ve got plenty of them and you children enjoy the process of doing it as much as I do. Also, they get to play in pair or in small groups after one unit is finished.

In each card, the following info is included:

- A beautiful drawing
- the Phonetic transcription
- the use of the word in an example sentence

OUR BOX IS OUR TREASURE! AND WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

Ya está aquí la Navidad

Suenan villancicos, se oyen risas de los niños y se respira alegría, ilusión e inocencia en en colegio, ¡es Navidad! y para celebrarlo hemos disfrutado un año más del Festival Navideño en La Corolla.

Como es habitual, pequeños y mayores han preparado sus actuaciones durante semanas para poder mostrárselas a sus compañeros el día del festival pero, por mucho que se practique, el día del estreno todos están nerviosos. Antes de subir al escenario, siempre se nota inquietud en el ambiente, pero una vez que comienzan sus actuaciones, no hay quien los pare...

Este año, pudimos disfrutar de actuaciones diferentes. Los alumnos quisieron escapar de los típicos villancicos navideños y prepararon actuaciones con las que sorprender a sus compañeros, eso sí, con temas navideños de hoy y de ayer. Todas las interpretaciones han sido fantásticas y niños y profesores hemos disfrutado mucho con el festival.

Después de ésto, sólo queda desearos a todos unas Felices Fiestas y un Próspero Año Nuevo. Volveremos a vernos en enero con la batería cargada de ganas e ilusión por seguir aprendiendo.

Nos gustaría aprovechar este último día para enseñaros algunas de las fotos que muestran todo lo mucho que vuestros peques han trabajado durante este primer trimestre. ¡Somos los alumnos de 1º, 2º, 5º y 6º de primaria! ¡Nos vemos a la vuelta!

CINEMA

Today, we want to write about a wonderful morning we spent in the cinema!

All together, students of primary 1, watched their first film dubbed in English. Well, it might not have been the first for some of them, but the all got inmersed in this interesting experience.

The film, based on the story of "easter bunnies", is a German film. We even had the pleasure of making question to the film director! Inspiring!
